“Hi everyone so i wanted to embrace the beauty part of my blog by reviewing a holy grail part of my makeup/beauty collection.
Today I am going to be talking about my ever so lovely paw paw papaya gold moisturiser. paw paw moisturising balm with papaya and manuka honey. this brand new product has recently just came to the UK and is sold in most boots superstores, originating from Australia, soothes and moisturises the lips and skin.this is such a just value product as it is retailed for £5.99 and you receive 25g of miracles.
I usually apply this at night and await a gorgeous complexion and softer lips, this is such a good product and i highly recomend it if you have quite dry lips although I’m a little upset because I am running low on my papaya gold!
This has all the benefits of the original formulation of Australia’s tropical Paw Paw (soothing irritated skin, relieving dryness and conditions like eczema and blemishes), however, it has been enhanced with New Zealand’s bioactive Manuka Honey (grade 20 and above) to deliver even more healing. Manuka Honey of this quality has pretty special healing powers according to researchers at Cardiff University. Well so I am told…this for me is a chuck in the handbag must have! i love it so much and i hope i have convinced you to purchase paw paw papaya gold! i have talked to paw paw themselves and they have supported me to make this review.thanks for reading.
Love, Lucyxxx”

Paw Paw is for Everyone!

We had such a lovely email from a customer the other day that we just had to share it… Thank you!

“I just wanted to get in contact to say what a fantastic product Paw Paw moisturising lip balm is.

I’m a bloke, and a bald bearded one at that. I hate the lying and underhand b.s sales tactics I see every day in cosmetics. The inventing of pseudo science terms that mean nothing to push product, inclusion of harmful additives that are actually BAD for people but increase shelf life, etc. etc.

The only cosmetics I use are antiperspirant, soap, and moisturiser for my head.

But … I’ve always had problem with my lips … They’re big, and get dry / cracked easily. So I’ve had to resort to using lip balms to keep this under control. I recently switched to some brand I’d never used before from Tesco … 2 days later my lips had blistered and were cracking / bleeding! Probably an allergic reaction or something.

Frustrated, I decided to leave them to heal naturally for a few days. Well after 2 days of this, not being able to smile without skin cracking, I went into Tesco and almost bought some more lip balm … Then I saw Paw Paw. Yes it was more than the lip balm, but what the hell, I looked at the back and saw only a handful of natural ingredients, as opposed to the dozens of chemicals listed in the lip balm. So I bought some.

What a revelation! After applying it my lips literally felt 100% normal again. And unlike with the lip balm, after a while of re-applying it I’m not left with that nasty sticky gunk that I usually have to grind off with a tissue.

I’m seriously impressed with this product. I try hundreds of new products each year (none of which are cosmetic usually) and I rarely write reviews or get in contact with a company to thank them, but here we are, so that must say something!

Also nice website :)”

Found on http://www.thegridldn.blogspot.co.uk/ , here is how Rhea Dillon uses her PawPaw balm:

“Softening balm great for chapped lips, dry elbows and also adding sheen to the body like a highlighter (also I’ve heard it’s heavenly when applied to nails to protect them from fake tan). Whether or not you’ve heard of the life necessity owned by nearly every model and fashionista who is able to make it to Australia often, I can now happily tell you this wonder lotion is available in your local Boots! You’re most welcome!”

Every now and then you try a product that swiftly becomes one of your favourites and your left wondering how you managed without it. This is exactly how I feel about this product. I was sent this a while ago by the lovely people at papaya gold and I have been using it pretty much everyday since.

Paw paw balm from PapayaGold* is a clear gel like product that can work miracles on a number of complaints, such a releiving dry chapped lips, smoothing sunburn and even deeply moisturising parched dry patches of skin to leave skin feeling silky smooth.

So what exactly is paw paw balm?

Papaya Gold say:

PAPAYAGOLD PAW PAW Balm, enriched with Bio Active Manuka Honey 20+, is a topical balm that soothes, relieves and moisturises dry, sensitive, chaffed and irritated skin and dry chapped lips. Apply regularly to skin and lips as required. Can be used by people that are prone to eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. Also suitable for children.

The enhanced formulation combines the benefits of Australia’s tropical Paw Paw fruit, further enriched with New Zealand’s bioactive Manuka Honey with a 20+ grade. Farmed at altitude from the Nectar, Manuka Honey’s healing properties have been celebrated for centuries. Manuka Honey with a grade of 20 and above is considered therapeutic and has been hailed “miracle” honey by researchers at Cardiff University.
Paw Paw (or Papaya) contains the enzyme Papain which helps to lower inflammation and to improve healing from burns and cuts; it can even reduce inflammation in certain diseases such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

It comes in a 25g red tube, which is perfect for popping in your bag when out and about. I have been taking this everywhere with me for use on my lips and soothing mosquito bites. The texture is similar to petroleum jelly yet not as dense and is a lot better for your skin .

I am amazed at how versatile this product is,.I have used it on burns, as a barrier cream when dying hair and to moisturise my knees and elbows before tanning. This is one of the reason’s it is growing such a cult following including celebs such as Holly Willoughby
I suffer with dry lips on and off and this has become my go to product for leaving my lips soft and smooth. It is without doubt one of my holy grail products and will be stocking up so I can have it on hand all the time. I really cant recommend this highly enough. It costs £5.99 for a 25g tube and is available online as well as at Superdrug and Boots.

What products are on your holy grail list? What products do you use to relieve dry skin and chapped lips? Will you be trying paw paw balm?

Lots of Love,
Laura x
